“Are you a marketing agency?”

  • We’re a team who use our talents and experience to help small to medium-sized organizations, in a variety of ways.
  • Some of those ways are in marketing and communications, but many of them are not.
  • We offer a range of integrated services because we believe that’s what companies need today. A single touch point for strategy, operations and execution.
  • We create/update your customer-facing collateral – presentations, brochures, websites, email blasts or social media channel pages.
  • We automate and streamline the process of localizing content.
  • We develop inbound marketing strategies to manage (and monitor) your organization’s social media presence.
  • We create video content, ghost-write your blog, or supply killer copy for your newsletter, brochure or website.
  • We offer PR services issuing media releases, lobbying and schmoozing journalists and industry influences.
  • Perhaps you’re a manufacturer looking for re sellers – at home or overseas – and need someone to find them and manage them. Maybe you’re looking for ways of generating leads using the web, mobile devices, video, or email. Or maybe what you need is something else entirely.

  “What’s your hourly rate?”

 We don’t have an hourly-rate.What?!? Yes, it’s true – we don’t.

Why? Because we think that charging by the hour prevents us (i.e. you and us) working to our fullest potential.
We see many downsides with working on a project that’s charged by the hour:

•             You don’t call us (or want us to call you too much) because the clock’s ticking,

•             We could drag out a project for longer, since we’d be getting more money for it.  (We wouldn’t, but we could.)

 We think it’s far better for all concerned to charge for the project in its entirety, regardless of project duration.

That way, you know exactly how much the job is going to cost, and we can concentrate on delivering the best possible result.

If you REALLY insist on us charging you on a per-hour basis (as we have been forced to do in the past) then sure, we’ll do it, But experience has shown us that neither of us are going to be as happy with the final result.

“How do you do what you do?”
 •             WE’RE TRANSPARENT.
Just as with any successful partnership, we’re nothing less that 100% honest and upfront with you at all times. We let you know what we’re doing, why and how we’re doing it – and what it’s all costing you.
 •             WE’RE BOLD.
We believe in aiming high, and standing out from the crowd. We aim for the remarkable, and won’t settle for the routine. There’s a great quote from advertising master David Ogilvy that we love:“Don’t bunt. Aim out of the ball park. Aim for the company of immortals.”
 •             WE’RE FUN.
We love what we do, and it shows. We have a great time doing it. If you’re looking for a straight-laced, gray-suited bunch of humorless clones, then move along.
 •             WE’RE INQUISITIVE.
In our book there’s no such thing as the ‘right way.” We believe in continually learning, experimenting, and exploring new ways to solve client problems.
 •             WE’RE FLEXIBLE.
Goals, expectations, environments, ideals, targets, missions – and budgets – can change. We can change with them. 

Before You Hire Us…

Hopefully you like what you’ve heard so far, and you’re thinking of getting us on board. That’s great.  Here are a few other things that you should know about us:

We’re not into writing and presenting long, complicated and elaborate plans jam-packed with nonsensical gibberish. Today’s commercial environment changes so fast that they’d be out-of-date by the time you received them anyway.
We work with you to find out what the single most valuable contribution could be to your organization, and then we do it. Once we’ve done it, and we’re all happy with it, then we look at the next thing.
We all need to be on the same page at all times. This is perhaps the only part of working with us where no-one wants any surprises.


Sketches, doodles, collages. Maybe the occasional scribble on the back of a napkin. With us, you’re as much a team member as anyone else. You’re not a passive audience, there for us to present some super-polished final deliverable. You won’t get any dog-and-pony shows with us. You’re part of the project.
